If anyone is able to provide suggestions but needs more information about my hardware and software configuration, please let me know. I'm curious if there's anyone who has used this module with a better driver who can help. If anyone is curious where this module was purchased from for context ( AliExpress): Subsystem: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd Device # lspci -knnÄ 2:00.0 Network controller : Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 31) I'm not sure what the above error is specifically caused by, since I've seen it only spit that error when transmitting and/or receiving at a certain rate (above 1 megabyte per second approximately). It works, however unpredictably (1-15 seconds approximately) during traffic I get the following error: hostapd: wlan0: STA XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX IEEE 802.11: disconnected due to excessive missing ACKs (from logread) This card seems to work without issues in client-mode, however has an odd problem when in access-point mode. Hence why I needed to manually install the firmware file. I've checked the OpenWRT SDK for my device(U7621-06) and was only able to find support for the USB version of this module unfortunately. However since the software repositories do not have support for the card I had to manually install the firmware file from here( GitHub): I recently installed a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 (mPCI-e version) into a OpenWRT/LEDE based router.
